METAPHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL BOOK EDITING

Jessica has been a student of spirituality and metaphysics for many years. As part of the generation that grew up with Ram Das and the concepts in Be Here Now, she has explored many spiritual paths, including Zen Buddhism and the religions of India. In the mid-1990s, she turned to the experience of what she calls “Metaphysical Christianity.” She has visited the faith healers of the Philippines many times, and she has a blog devoted to the phenomena of psychic surgery.

In her private practice, separate from book editing, Jessica does clairvoyant readings and energy healing in Ashland, Oregon. Her abilities as a healer and writer merge beautifully, as illustrated by the words of one client, who said: “Jessica is a fantastic copy editor because she sees the energy behind the words.”

In addition to editing spiritual books, Jessica has extensive experience editing medical and self-help books for laypersons. Please see the page on this website entitled “Books Edited by Jessica” for a complete list.

She is the author of three spiritual books:

PSYCHIC SURGERY AND FAITH HEALING: Revised Edition

MEDIUMSHIP AND THE FLOW OF GRACE

and

THE WISDOM OF HILARION: Healing Messages for Modern Times

In her personal writing, Jessica is especially gifted in the art of memoir, and she is the author of a memoir, entitled LOVE IS AGELESS: Stories About Alzheimer’s Disease. She has also edited memoirs for other authors.

Examples of Jessica’s personal memoir writing can be found on the page entitled “Memoir.” Her metaphysical writing can be found on a separate website: http://www.theflowofgrace.net.

Jessica worked as a legal secretary for 25 years before deciding she wanted to read something more interesting than legal briefs! In working with attorneys, she learned to organize large amounts of written material and the value of correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

If you are interested in having Jessica help you with your book manuscript or other writing, please see the “Fees and Services” page on this blog.
